"The book is about Holden Caulfield, who's a boy in prep school in New York who doesn't really get along with the system.
What I like most about the book, first of all, at the time that I first read it - I've read it many times - but the time I first read it, I was kind of in that same place where you're not sure where you're going in the future, and here is a character in a famous piece of literature that is basically thinking and acting like you either would love to or are. People say this person writes like people talk; I think this book is written like people think.
Anyone in high school, definitely, or in college, really. I mean, anybody that hasn't read it. It's good for - if you're in that frame of mind, it's good to identify with someone out there who feels the same way. If you're not in this frame of mind, it's a great, well-written book. I would have to give it five out of five stars just because I personally love the style of the book; and when I read it the first time, it was such a strong connection that it's really become a part of my life."
