Our career center info and useful yet humorous career test do not require you to register. You just take the test and (bam!)… are given some new careers to consider and links to other sites to learn more.
Our test is a series of simple, direct, and sometimes rudely funny “yes” or “no” questions that yield three to five career suggestions. The careers suggested, as calculated from your answers, are also links to resources on other sites to learn more. We guarantee that it’s like no other job center test you’ve taken before.
Our career center test even sarcastically suggests what you may be well-suited for without any further education, such as congressman or bathroom attendant.
You may ask, “how is the test so eerily accurate?” That’s a good question. One reason is the test has itself been tested. By relating the results back to sample test-takers chosen careers, we’re able to pretend that our answers are 100% dead-on. However, we choose not to pretend that the test is so accurate, but it is at least thought-provoking. Here’s a little more on the difference between a scientific career aptitude test and our test.
You may also remark, “Hey, these career suggestions are ridiculous!” There could be many reasons for that. First off, your sense of what you might be well-suited for may be different from reality and/or our test formula. Also, you may have given some really bad answers. Finally, we never promised accuracy. Our goal is to provide thought-provoking entertainment. The thoughts that are provoked are just as likely to come from the questions asked, as the answers given.
In the end, you’re free to take the test again. This time, try being brutally honest. Seriously, people often answer test questions in an effort to look good. No one is watching and no one here at Blue Rectangle cares what your answers are. So, let go… answer “yes” even if you think it seems like kind of negative. s
